The Skinny on the Skinners: Dancin Dreams

Buenos Dias de Mexico. I hope you are all doing great! Calv and I are doing wonderful. This past week was a great week. Jeremi and Rebecca were out of town and we were pretty busy all week. On Friday there was a big young single adult activity with 5 stakes held here at the Academy. It was pretty crazy. There was a fireside beforehand and then a dance. We stayed at the dance till 1:30 in the morning. The music didn't stop until 3 AM! Then after that I was lying in bed thinking WHAT MUSIC ARE THEY LISTENING TO NOW?! The next morning we found out they were doing karaoke....which made alot more sense. Some of the single adults slept in tents and stayed the night. The dances here are definitely different. EVERYONE dances. And they are so good! The students had been asking Calv and I all week if we were going to dance. They were so excited to see us dance. So after the dance I realized I LOVE dancing in Mexico cause everything we did they loved. Lets just say at one point I was upside down and Calv was twirling me around. I was scared for my life and wasn't sure what was going on BUT the students loved it. They kept talking to us after saying " you guys are so good at dancing, where did you learn those moves?" haha so funny. We had a blast though. We had a great time dancing. We had to take care of the dogs while Jeremi and Rebecca were gone. So that's why I posted a picture of Gibby. He is 3 months old and he LOVES to sleep. He's actually a pretty cute dog. The students only have 1 more week here! I am sad to see them go. We have made some great friends here. We will miss them a lot. It's crazy we've already been here 7 weeks almost. Time goes by so fast!!
